@Arnon...
HP was sadlled with trying to build a vertically integrated OS with ZERO content....it was never going to work without a committment to years and years of investments.
Sony is selling hardware (presumably at a profit) that has the highest growth operating system on it that allows them to embed access to SONY's media company's...thus creating a vertically integrated system that creates long term cash flow.
They don't have...
Is that a huge, sausage fest or
a huge sausage, fest?
Either way I'm in.
You sir, are an idiot.
Your profile says you're from Canada...the PSP and PSP go have both been 99$ or less at various times multiple times over the last 2 years. I picked up a Hanna Montana one brand new for $79 at Toys R Us over a year ago and PSPgo were 99 at most places a few months back.
Its one or two interviews being parsed into 20 articles...blame the approvers/mods for approving shite articles based on one sentence at a time.
I lost my virginity to a 2600 joystick.
$99 HP Touchpad + Vita...= Steve Jobs can rim job me.
What do you mean 'hope that it is true'...it is already well known that AC is coming to Vita...this only thing this story is about is its potential name.
So the pop in isn't of the nasty kind. There still is pop in. Confirmed by a someone on Playstation's payroll: http://blog.us.playstation....
This "the slow speed of the console’s drive means that many titles have to install parts of the game onto the harddrive simply to play" is completely false.
Multiplat devs do not bother to optimize the laying down of data onto the BR Disc. If they did (see majority of exclusives) you would not have extreme install sizes. You cannot lay down data on a BR Disc the same way as a DVD and expect them to work the same.
For the billionth time in the last...
@Neo....I use my PSP to Remote Play content on my home server (movies and music) at work everyday. Wifi is the magic sauce that allows this.
Best Buy Canada is selling the 320gb for 249 to clear them out.
You do know that MS spent the first year of Xbox 360's life channel stuffing so that they could pronounce sales to try and put distance between them selves and Sony before the PS3 launch right? Go back and look at year two shipped for Xbox...they barely shipped anything for 9mos as they had channel stuffed so hard the year before and investors caught them out.

USB on the back would be welcome.
Lower price 199$ starter would be nice (so I can buy my 3rd :) )
Please...can we have a different color in North America? I'd really like a white one.
BC is done guys...stop wishing.
We do KNOW we are getting the new model with no HD Movies unless over HDMI right...so perhaps these 'rumours' are just getting confused with that?
Wireless N would also be welcome by this point.
@buuhan...no I like the weight...and i don't want to buy a DS3 and remove the motors...its a shame they are hard to find since one of my sticks won't center anymore (though I'm used to it no one else can play with it)
I prefer the sixaxis...it isn't a matter of affordability. And since I DID put out half a grand I'd like my freaking controller to work on any damned game I want.
Consoles do not need near as much ram as a computer (smartphone) do. See games running of PS3 and try and run those in 512MB on a computer...the OS gets in the way.
@Peaceful Jelly....
Nintendo has nothing on arrogance compared to my company.
Steve Jobs

Cellius is now spending their time on Ridge Racer for PSV.
Seekingalpha is an investment site...
Sony lost its dominance in music players
Sony lost its dominance in console gaming
Sony lot its dominance in televisions
Sony lost its dominance in ereaders
That is what the article is pointing too...Sony is innovative but doesn't have the culture to keep them in front...they are spread too thin. They're working on it but as investors its been a horrible investment for a long time.
